16TH ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF ZEP-RE
ZEP-RE’s 16th Annual General Assembly was held at the Sun Zambezi Hotel in Livingstone, Zambia on Monday 16th of July 2007. The Annual General Assembly was jointly hosted by the Company’s shareholders; Pensions and Insurance Authority and Zambia State Insurance Company and the Insurance Association of the Zambia. In attendance were members of the Company and business associates drawn from within and outside the COMESA region.
The meeting was officially opened by Honourable Rupiah Banda, Vice President of the Republic of Zambia. Among the issues considered at the meeting included the adoption of the Company’s 2006 Annual Report, appointment of a new Managing Director, election of new members to the Board of the Company, appointment of external auditors, admission of a new member and the allocation of additional shares to existing members of the Company.
The function was officially closed by Dr. Mbikusita Lewanika, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance.
