ZEP-RE expands reinsurance training program
In line with its mandate of promoting the development of the insurance industry and raising the technical capacity of the insurance personnel in the region, the Company has carried three “Advanced Reinsurance Workshops” in: -
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Reinsurance workshop focused on engineering aspects of reinsurance (risks, covers etc),
Blantyre, Malawi
Reinsurance workshop focused on advanced aspects and skills requisite in managing modern reinsurance practice,
Bujumbura, Burundi
Reinsurance workshop focused on advanced aspects and skills requisite in managing modern reinsurance practice. The Bujumbura seminar was designed for the French speaking markets of the region.
The workshop content highlighted above was specifically designed to impart the most up to date and functional skills necessary for an insurance professional in the 21st century.
The three workshops/seminars carried out this year have so far trained over 70 insurance personnel from the region. More workshops are planned for the forthcoming year.
