19TH ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY
ZEP-RE’s 19th Annual General Assembly was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nairobi on Monday 10th May 2010. In attendance included members of the Company and business associates drawn from within and outside the COMESA region.
The meeting was officially opened by Honourable Amos Kimunya, Minister of Trade and Acting Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uganda. Also in attendance was Mr. Sammy Makove, Chief Executive Officer of the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Kenya
Among the issues considered at the meeting included the adoption of the Company’s 2009 Annual Report, declaration of dividends, the election of a new Board, new Chairman and Vice Chairperson and the appointment of External Auditors of the Company.
